Merry Christmas!

We Wish You a Merry Christmas!  While I have been quite neglectful of the blog, I hope to do better in the coming year!  I hope everyone enjoys the happiest of holidays this Christmas season.

Audra's first time decorating (the indoor tree lacked ornaments, as they tend to get destroyed by Aiden.  Maybe in a few years we can actually decorate nicely!).

Enjoying Springtime

The weather has warmed and activity has picked up in the McBride backyard!  Clyde (and assistant Aiden) are back to work in the yard and Audra and Mom love to come outside to visit with Kona.  The tough part is bringing Aiden back inside without him throwing a fit.

Audra still spends most of her time inside, but she has fun!

Aiden and Kona are up to their old tricks.  Daddy has to unclog the fountain's filter much more often when these two are around it!

Though the iPad was a gift from Clyde to me, Aiden seems to think it's his.  He is gracious enough to try to show Audra the game he's playing.

Audra loves "playing" with her toys.  Thank you Grandma and Grandpa... it's still a hit!

Hugs and Kisses

Baby Audra has grown on her big brother, and he's generous with his hugs and kisses.  As he now climbs in her crib with her--there is officially no place I can put her where he cannot get to her!

Audra was crying while I folded laundry.  I heard "Mama!", and found Aiden trying to console her and calling for help.

A Good Place to Rest Your Head

Sometimes it feels as if the action is non-stop, but Aiden and Audra remind us how important it is to rest.  Finding a good place to rest your head isn't too difficult to do around here!

Aiden loves to be on Dad's shoulders to play... this time he got tuckered out and fell right to sleep!

We enjoyed true family togetherness this weekend as Ciala and Lauren were home to meet Audra in person and help keep Aiden occupied (they're the best!).  We lounged, played, and (some of us) napped... the weekend went by too fast!  We're looking forward to the girls' spring break, when they'll be home with us again!

If anyone thinks they can get Aiden to sit still for a good photo, please come and try!
